  • Fall Festival: November 16th

    The tradition continues! Have fun in the fall weather at the Annual Community Fall Festival, Saturday, November 16th from 10:00AM-1:00PM on North 6th and 7th Streets in downtown Fernandina Beach. Enjoy games, bouncy houses, music, face painting, temporary tattoos, free lunch and more! There’s even a special area just for toddlers! This year, the Fall Festival is partnering with the Fernandina Beach Market Place Farmer’s and Arts Market to share activities and even have a scavenger hunt for kids! This event is dog-friendly.   • Women's Liturgical Dance

    All women interested in joining a liturgical dance group are invited to join Lexi Fortenberry and Laura Giordano in the Sanctuary  Thursdays from  5:00PM – 6:00PM.  

  • United Methodism Men's Breakfast

    Men at Memorial are invited to the monthly pancake breakfast Saturday, Nov.  9th, at 8:00AM in the Multipurpose Room. Pastor Granardo Felix, from our sister church, Trinity, will be the speaker. Join the men for good food and fellowship. No reservations necessary.  

  • Dr. Joan Leads a Class on Sabbath

    Dr. Joan will teach a 4-week study on the book 24/6 by Matthew Sleeth Tuesdays from 5:00PM-6:00PM beginning November 5th in the Music Suite behind the Sanctuary. In 24/6, Dr. Matthew Sleeth describes our symptoms, clarifies the signs, diagnoses the illness, and lays out a simple plan to help us adopt Sabbath practices. Setting aside a day of rest helps us reconnect with our Creator and find the peace of God that passes all understanding. This study will supplement a worship series beginning Sunday, November 10th.   • SWEL (Single Women Enjoying Lunch)

    Our Single Ladies Enjoying Lunch, (SWEL) meet monthly for lunch after church. The group will meet November 3rd, 12:30 PM to meet at Lagniappe, 4810 First Coast Highway. To learn the next time the ladies will lunch together after church, contact Marilyn Perkins, 904-849-7545. 

  • Wednesday Dinners and Classes!

    Join us in Maxwell Hall at 5:00PM as we begin our fall season with a country-fried chicken dinner. Get involved in one of our many after dinner activities. Kids can join Pastor Carrie for Kids Encounter Service and our youth study with Charles Sandusky. Paul Harrel leads an in-depth study of the upcoming sermon scriptures. Faithlinks meets Pepper's to discuss current events through a Methodist perspective. Chancel choir rehearses in the music suite.

  • Russian "ChoRuss" Concert with a Cause, Nov. 3rd

     The "ChoRuss" Russian Ensemble was founded in 2012 and is currently touring through Europe and the United States. This 4-person ensemble performs a cappella, as is the tradition of the Russian Orthodox Church. Come hear them sing sacred Russian music and Russian folk & Christmas songs Nov.3rd at 7:00PM in the Sanctuary. The concert is free. A love offering will be collected for Campus to City Wesley, our area’s college ministry.
