Faithlinks Join us at The Florida House Inn as we connect our Methodist faith to current events and recent headlines.  Using scripture and United Methodist resources we have lively discussions around the table.  Discussion is facilitated by Carrie McCannell-Scruggs.

Sermon-Based Bible Study Paul Harrell leads a Bible study that reviews the text that will be preached in worship the following Sunday morning.  Class meets in the Blue Room in the back of Maxwell Hall.

Fives Means of Grace is a 6-week study that will “show you how to reorder your life through prayer, searching Scripture, receiving the Lord’s Supper, fasting and conferencing (worshiping together). You’ll learn how to recognize and affirm the outward signs, words, and actions of an invisible divine grace, deepening your relationship with God and making your faith more complete.”  Pastor Drew will lead this study written by Elaine Health, the Dean of Duke Divinity School.

Disciple’s Path Class   This six-week class is designed for those who are new in their faith, those who want to learn more about Methodism, as well as those who want to “jump-start” their relationship with God. The class will look at the history of Christianity, the beliefs of the United Methodist Church and how we live out our faith through prayer, Scripture, giving, and service. Beginning September 26th, Pastor Drew will facilitate on Wednesdays at 6:00PM in Room 302. Be sure to come by the front office and get a book BEFORE class begins!

Children are more than welcome to come and build relationships with other kids.  The class meets at 9:30AM on Thursday mornings in the Multipurpose Room.

Join us for Lunch and Learn on Thursdays at 11:30AM in the Multipurpose Room.  Beginning August 16th, we will read The Gift of Years: Growing Old Gracefully by Joan Chittister.  Pastor Carrie will lead our discussions as we discuss the gift and stigma of aging.  During class we will learn together and lean on each other as we share our lives.
