Sunday Evenings:

Half Truths: God said it, I believe it, that settles it.  Love the sinner, hate the sin. All true? Not so fast. We’ve heard these phrases all of our lives, but in Adam Hamilton’s new book, Half Truths, you’ll learn that although they capture some element of truth, when compared to the wisdom found in Scripture, they’re really just popular sayings.   Facilitated by Sarah Flint, August 21st – September 25th, 6:30PM - 7:30PM in the Partin Center Parlor.

During the Week:

Book of Acts: An in-depth study of the book of Acts with lots of conversation and time for discussion.  Meets weekly on Mondays at 3:00PM in Maxwell Hall.  Facilitated by Steve Taylor and Pastor Carrie.

Christian Believer:  I believe in…what? Have you ever spent a lot of time thinking about what you believe about God? What do we mean by the Trinity? Grace? Incarnation? Eschatology? Christian Believer is a study where we dive deep into the core beliefs of Christianity and learn from each other, as well as faithful women and men from the past. Join Pastor Drew in this 15-week series. Wednesdays, 2:30PM – 4:30PM in the Partin Center Conference Room.

Faithlinks:   Two groups providing a drop-in, guided conversation about current events from a Methodist perspective.  Both meet on Wednesdays from 6:00PM - 7:00PM. Group 1 meets in the Partin Center Parlor and is led by Nelson Hamilton. Group 2 meets at the Florida House Inn and is facilitated by Carrie McCannell-Scruggs.

Sign Language: A Look at the Historic and Prophetic Landscape of America by Terry M. Wildman:  A book study taught by Roger Antworth that looks at the biblical references and signs that we see today which indicate God's ancient message is coming to pass.  The author uses the past to help us read the present, which directs us into God's future.  Taught on Wednesday nights beginning on August 17th from 6:00PM – 7:00PM in the Partin Center Conference Room.

Sermon-Based Scripture Study: An in-depth look at the upcoming Sunday’s sermon text with Paul Harrell and Pastor Beth.  Class meets on Wednesday nights, beginning August 17th, from 6:00 – 7:00PM in the Resource Room.

Lunch and Learn: Bring your brown bag lunch Thursdays in Maxwell Hall from 12:00PM – 1:00PM for a drop in conversation about chosen books and various themes.
