Hebrews 13:2 “Don’t neglect to open up your homes to guests, because by doing this some have been hosts to angels without knowing it.”
1 Peter 4:8-10 “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. “
Memorial United Methodist Church is not our house, it is God’s house and everyone is welcome. We are honored to have visitors worship with us and strive to make everyone feel welcome and at home.
“Radical Hospitality” is not just a phrase we use to define this welcoming atmosphere; it is how we all try to live our lives. Even when we are not in our church building, we are welcoming people into God’s Kingdom. Radical Hospitality is living out Jesus’ charge to love our neighbor as ourselves. And, by doing that, we become the hands and feet of Christ on Earth.
When you are on our campus, look for our greeters and ushers. These are members of our church who are always available to help guests and answer questions about our church.
