At Memorial United Methodist Church, we believe that we are each on a unique faith journey. The goal of our faith journey is spiritual maturity, seen most clearly as an increase in the fruit of the spirit (including love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) in our words, actions and attitudes.
We honor our distinct history both internationally and locally and follow the guidance of The United Methodist Church to have “Open Hearts, Open Doors and Open Minds.” We hear a calling from Christ to reach out in service, particularly to the poor and the least of these.
Having strong relationships with each other as a church family is important. As we grow in our discipleship, we support one another on their own journeys.
One of our greatest blessings here at MUMC is the presence of children around our church on Sunday mornings. Children are always welcome and encouraged to be a part of the services.
We also offer communion each week at 8:00AM Service and the first Sunday of each month at 9:30AM and 11:00AM Services. All are welcome at the Lord's Communion Table.
