I am beyond grateful for the outpouring of support you have had for me in my new adventure into the Non-profit world. I am deeply saddened to leave Memorial, but excited to follow God’s call in my life. We will talk more about this in the coming weeks.
On Sunday we will begin a new sermon series called “The Work of the Spirit.” Using stories from the Book of Acts we will uncover the ways the Spirit worked in 1st Century Christians lives and how God’s Spirit is still active today.
We will begin this week with Acts 16 and the story of Lydia. She was a remarkable woman and has a unique claim to fame! This is the only chapter in the Bible that Lydia is included, and we can learn a lot from her story of faith.
It is my hope that you will join us for worship on Sunday at any of our four worship services and bring a friend.
