For those affected by
Hurricanes Helene & Milton
Ways that YOU can help!
The Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church has asked us all to help those affected by Hurricane Helene, both in Florida and throughout the southeast. Below are a few ways you can do that right now!

Help Assemble Flood Buckets
On October 13th, we gathered to assemble 100 flood buckets! These were delivered to areas that specifically needed them in central and south Florida. We are anticipating the need to have another round of flood bucket assembly soon.
This call for flood buckets was an emergency and time was of the essence. Our Missions Committee authorized emergency funds from the General Missions Fund to purchase the supplies for the flood buckets. Each bucket cost $75. And, of course,
you can pray:
Your prayers are always the most valuable gift you can give during times of disaster. Lift up those who lost loved ones, those who are missing, those who lost homes, the helpers and first responders, communities in need of repair, and local, state, and federal leaders,

The former Bishop of the Florida Conference, Ken Carter, offered a timely prayer for the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
You can find it HERE and use it with your own prayers.
